Painting showing the third ascent of Lunardi’s balloon from St. George’s Fields, Newington on 29 Jun 1785. Vincenzo Lunardi, (1759-1806) was secretary to the Neopolitan Embassy. He made the first aerial journey in England on 15th September 1784.
